Ms Leonie Ki is a prominent figure in Hong Kong's business sector and a veteran advertising professional. She is active in various fields, including education, culture, and publishing, and social services. She has always been passionate about participating in charitable activities, earning her the title of "Hong Kong’s Most Ardent Volunteer." On the charity side, Ms Ki founded the Wu Zhi Qiao (Bridge to China) Charitable Foundation (WZQ) in 2007, helped promote the “Bless Hong Kong” poverty-alleviation campaign, organized the "YO Dancical" in 2014, and established the Hong Kong Gaudeamus Dunhuang Ensemble (HKGDE) in 2018. She is currently the Founder and Honorary Life President of WZQ, the Founder, Chairperson and Honorary Director of HKGDE, the Honourary Consultant for Youth Outreach’s School of Hip Hop, and a Governor of the Chow Tai Fook Charity Foundation. On the education side, Ms Ki was a Council Member of The University of Hong Kong (2012 - 2018), the then Open University of Hong Kong (now The Hong Kong Metropolitan University), and Lingnan University. She was also a Member of Committee of Overseers of the Morningside College of The Chinese University of Hong Kong (2008 - 2019). She was the Asian Advisory Board Member of Cheng Yu Tung School of Business at The University of Western Ontario, Canada, as well as Advisory Board Member of CUHK / EMBA Programme and a Member of Hong Kong Institute of Construction Management Board. Ms Ki was awarded the Gold Bauhinia Star (GBS) in 2016 and the Silver Bauhinia Star (SBS) in 2007 by the Hong Kong SAR Government, in recognition of her contributions to the development and social services in Hong Kong and the Mainland. She was also appointed a Justice of the Peace (JP) in 2005 by the Hong Kong SAR Government. Ms Ki was a member of the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the 10th - 12th CPPCC Yunnan Provincial Committee. She is the Honorary Fellow of The University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, and the then Open University of Hong Kong (now The Hong Kong Metropolitan University). She was awarded the Chapter Honoree by The Chinese University of Hong Kong Chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma.
