Call for undergraduate students of the University of Hong Kong! Here comes the opportunity for a service-learning trip to rural villages in the Mainland!

In October this year, Wu Zhi Qiao will co-organize "Rural Sustainability - Village Revitalization Service Trip to Gansu & Shaanxi" with the Horizons Office of the University of Hong Kong. During the journey, we will visit the two main project sites of WZQ (Macha Village in Gansuand Qingyu Village in Shaanxi) as well as Xi'an to conduct diversified activities such as on-site service, cultural experience, and exchange with local university students. Details are as follows:

Date: 14 October 2023 (Sat) to 22 October 2023 (Sun)
Locations: Macha Village in Gansu, Qingyu Village in Shaanxi and Xi'an
Language: Mandarin
Activities: On-site service (sustainable energy construction, e.g. solar lamps), cultural experience (appreciation of Qingqiang, shadow puppet show), exchange with local university students
Briefing Session: 16 September 2023 (Sat) @ Mui Tsz Lam Village, Sha Tau Kok, Hong Kong (Students participating in this service trip are required to attend the briefing session and pay for their own lunch)
Tour Fee: HK$3,090/person charged by HKU
Quota: 20 full-time undergraduate students of HKU
Deadline: noon, 30 June 2023
