Wu Zhi Xing is an annual inter-university charity walk started in 2011. The event unites the efforts and caring hearts of the 13 tertiary institutions and the community in Hong Kong to support bridge building in rural areas by university students. The event attracts more than thousand students and citizens of Hong Kong every year.
“There is much more to building a bridge than the completion of the structure. No matter how small or wide the water which has been crossed, or a gap which has been closed, there is always a lasting of surprise and delight at having removed a barrier separating places or people from one another.
So it is with Wu Zhi Qiao! Our aim is to reach out to people living in remote places, to build the bridges they need, and to build bridges of the mind and spirit cementing peoples together.”
