Wu Zhi Qiao Interflow Camp
To foster our bridge and livelihood project development and experience sharing between the more than ten university teams from Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan and USA, the Foundation organizes the Wu Zhi Qiao Interflow Camp annually. The programme includes training in bridge design, site investigations, project management, team building and communication skills through case studies, role-plays, group discussions and adventure activities, as well as team performances and recreational activities. The programme has exhibited its significance in building up mutual understanding and cohesion within the WZQ family.
Wu Zhi Gathering
“Wu Zhi Gatherings” are interflow activities organized by university teams for sharing topics related to WZQ projects, such as sustainable architecture, project management, China development, team building and communication skills. The objectives of these talks and sharing are to promote interflow amongst volunteers and public understanding of our work. The targets are voluntary workers of the Foundation, Friends of WZQ and public interested in our projects.
Besides, the Foundation organizes first-aid courses to equip our voluntary workers with safety awareness and relevant practical knowledge. The Wu Zhi Qiao university teams also co-organize different activities with the Foundation including publicity events. Students from different faculties utilize their expertise and learn from each other in the event organizing process, from planning, promotion, recruitment through to implementation.
